Quick Update
Apr. 20th, 2005 04:15 pmOther entries may or may not be written on what is on my mind.
However a brief update on what I have been up to recently.
On Thursday 4/14, I joined Java, Terlan, and Silmaril in going to see The Bobs doing "Rhapsody in Bob" (and by chance were sitting right next to 'Molly' who is one of my oldest FOB and Breyer friends). The newest Bob (Dan Bob) is quite good. The skill, timing, pitch, and everything else to do Rhapsody in Blue with piano and 4 voices was truly amazing. However, I still think I prefer listening to the 'normal' (can I use that word to describe The Bobs?) music since I can sing along with that.
Taxes are done and out (yea Java). Shredder was purchased and used.
Sat & Sun the 15-16, I was at MTT at Marietta House Museum dancing with 3LF. Things overall went quite well. There were some glitches but mostly we covered and the people watching seemed to enjoy it. Got a chance to say hi to some of the Germans, Nymblewick, ModernDayViking, Vval, Badmagic, and a bunch of other people. All in all a fairly good weekend of dancing (though I was sore ... I'm not used to throwing full sets in uneven ground ... need to work on that). Had a nice visit with Silmaril as we car-pooled to site. I also got some VERY nice honey.
Sat. night was at Java's parents for a family get together that was rather nice.
Sun we attacked the garden a bit (OK, Java attacked the lawn and part of the garden, I merely attacked the garden). More work still needs to be done but it is looking better.
